"My recent problem"

Unfortunately, I am sometimes prone to abscesses. They come up in a matter of 36-48 hrs. I am not putting any blame on the staff of the Rockhampton Base Hospital or the medical centre, just to make that clear, I understand it's the system.

Having an abscess arise on my backside, sitting became virtually impossible. I went to the Base Hospital, they were packed, did my best to wait just over 2 hrs, but as I said, I could not sit and I felt they were not able to do anything to help me. Went home.

The next morning I called my regular doctors, explained my problem and was told I would have to wait at least a week to get an appointment. What am I supposed to do, you can't plan a week in advance for something like this. Why don't they keep an appointment or two free for minor emergencies like this? I imagine I'm not the only one suffering from this sort of problem.

I am so so so very grateful House Call doctor was available. This was my first time using this service and despite the fact it took me half an hour to get through to them I would definitely, definitely recommend them to everyone.
