"Pregnancy and delivery"

About: St George Hospital / 1 South Maternity

(as the patient),

I had complications in my pregnancy that meant I had to be reviewed at the DAU in St George hospital near Maternity south from 28 weeks til I gave birth at 36 weeks. It was an incredibly stressful time for me but the doctors and especially the midwives were so attentive and kind to me. They let me ask any questions I wanted and looked after my baby's health in every way. I special shout out to the midwives during my delivery that made me feel like I was in very safe hands. And an absolute very special thanks to Pauline at Maternity south who had high energy that was infectious, took care of me during DAU and on the ward with my baby girl. She is an absolute gem and I am incredibly thankful that I had the privilege to have met her and have her as my midwife for most of my time at St George hospital.

Dear ateropedd47,

Congratulations of the safe arrival of your baby girl. I really appreciate you taking the time to let us know of your recent experience at St George as I am sure you must be very busy looking after your daughter.

I was very touched to read of how attentive the midwives were during what must have been a very stressful time for you. We genuinely have such caring and dedicated staff working here at St George, it is wonderful to read of the impact they had on you and your baby. It will give me great pleasure to provide this feedback to the staff and especially Pauline.

Thank you again for taking the time to write.

Best wishes,

Paul
