We travelled from Esperance to Kalgoorlie Health Campus Outpatient Clinic for an appointment recently.
Our experience of Kalgoorlie Hospital was so overwhelmingly positive, I feel compelled to comment here. My husband was seen immediately on arrival by a very caring nurse (Barbara) and after doing what she had to do, he went straight through to Dr Pagal, who I felt was professional, patient, kind and very thorough.
Our experience only got better with the administrator/receptionist of Outpatients calling a patient support person (Vicky) to assist us to get to PathWest and Medical Imaging. As well as organising this wheelchair assistance, she rang Medical Imaging to check appointment availability for us. And Vicky was a whiz, so helpful and cheerful.
The staff at both PathWest and Medical Imaging also provided a very professional service. Consequently, we left Kalgoorlie with faith in the system, thanks to these hard-working health workers. Thank you Kalgoorlie Hospital, we look forward to our next visit in a few weeks!
