Last year I was bitten by my brothers dog while visiting. I was taken to Ipswich Hospital via an ambulance team that was absolutely amazing. They were careful and explained my injuries well to me.
Upon arrival at the Ipswich hospital I was treated in a timely manner. I was told that I would require surgery to deep clean the wounds as dog bites could become very infectious. They began cleaning out the wounds and offered me pain relief as needed. I was then admitted for surgery in a timely manner.
All up I was in hospital for 3 days. The care I received while in there was above and beyond and I was treated with dignity and respect.
