(as a parent/guardian),

Our 5yo had a deep laceration needing stitches, but he wasn’t quite brave enough to manage the procedure with local anaesthetic alone. 

A huge thank you to the excellent ED team for going above and beyond to complete the procedure under sedation. Particular thanks to Dr Monica, Dr Alan, Dr Michail, Regan, Sam, Jade, Erin and Annette and the ED coordinators for the care and kindness shown to our family on a very busy day in your department.

In the words of the patient, “I’m the luckiest boy. This was so fun!” 🤪

Thank you for providing me with this great feedback of the luckiest boy’s fun experience at the Geraldton Hospital Emergency Department (ED). The ED team going above and beyond during a busy day is a true representation of how the team strive to ensure our patients, their loved ones and their carers are at the centre of everything we do.

I will ensure Dr Monica, Dr Alan, Dr Michael, Regan, Sam, Jade, Erin, Annette and the ED coordinators receive your compliment, and are aware of how much their kindness and compassion impacted your family’s health care experience.
