I currently have to attend Busselton Health Campus daily to get my Baxter antibiotics pump changed. It's an absolute breeze during the week when the HNDS staff are on duty. But when it hits the weekend it's a different story, you have to sit in the emergency department to be attended for, clogging up the ED room while it's already super busy in my experience.
On a recent weekend, I waited in the emergency department for well over an hour to get my pump changed. I feel like we spend enough time in the hospital to then have to spend our weekend in the emergency department.
Would be great to have the main facilities open on the weekend, so we're not clogging up the ED room as well.
