"The amazing care given to my dad in palliative care"

About: Sale Hospital / Palliative Care

(as a relative),

Dad was admitted to the Sale Hospital Palliative Care and passed away four days later. I am so grateful for the amazing care and kindness shown to Dad during that time. He was treated like a treasured family friend and that same kindness was extended to his family. Every staff member went that 'extra mile'. One nurse offered to hold the phone so I could say goodbye in case I couldn't arrive in time. Once there I was allowed to stay with Dad for his final days.

My heart is broken to lose my darling Dad but I will never forget the wonderful care and comfort provided to him and to me. Such a professional and dedicated team of people every single one of them.

Please accept my heartfelt gratitude.

It is very important that we support the entire family on this journey and it is pleasing to see that our staff were caring, compassionate and professional in the care of your dad and yourself.

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge this especially in your time of grieving. We have shared your feedback with our palliative care team who are very appreciative.
