Heard my neighbour complain of having difficulty breathing for the past two months. She had seen her GP again that morning and they had diagnosed COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and asthma.
I felt she was so unwelI I took her to Armadale Emergency. Within an hour of seeing Dr Robyn, my neighbour found out she was seriously anaemic and she was admitted and transfused. The kindness and efficiency of Dr Robyn, nurse Mariwa, and a student nurse that we experienced was outstanding. We found they were cheerful, helpful and got to the cause of the problem, all while the Dept seemed very busy. My neighbour was still receiving transfusions a few days later and so complimentary of her lovely room and the staff on her ward.
Well done, Armadale ED. We believe we are so lucky to have you near.
"Efficient and outstanding care"
