About: Maroondah Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Dad "shook hands" with an angle grinder a few weeks ago and it really cut him up, so we shipped him off to Maroondah Hospital to get himself sewn up. He generally hates hospitals, can't wait to leave as soon as he's arrived... however this time he reported back to us that he had a great experience! He said the staff were friendly, well organised and efficient and he was in and out within an hour. He was thoroughly impressed and very grateful to the doctors and nurses at Maroondah ED who patched him up.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your Dad's experience when he attended the Emergency Department at Eastern Health's Maroondah Hospital.

I was so pleased to read how he felt it went, not only the treatment he received, but also how he was treated. The team do great things in situations that can be challenging at times, however, they always do so with the intent of bringing the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility to life.

It will give me great pleasure to share your experience with the team.
