After spending 5 weeks at another hospital after a stroke I was transferred to Northam Hospital to finish my rehabilitation. I was really worried that I wouldn't get the treatment I required to enable me to go home.
From the first minute I came on the Sub-Acute ward I was made to feel comfortable by the nurse Rochelle who, I feel, is a wonderful person and is to be commended as, in my experience, nothing is too much trouble.
I found the physios and the OT staff were most welcoming and explained everything fully to me. When I had teary days they were there to help me through it. Just before I was due to go home they found another problem with my balance and Joel found some exercises for me to do so I would be fine when going home - the exercises worked and the dizziness went.
I definitely am satisfied with my treatment and the care given by all
