I was enrolled in the Midwife Group Programme at KEMH. Being a first time Mum, there were so many anxieties around being pregnant, the birth and then caring for my baby once she arrived. Having continuity of care throughout my pregnancy with my MGP midwife helped to alleviate these anxieties.
Our midwife became our most trusted point of contact and having her in the room (a friendly and familiar face) during the birth of our daughter made an otherwise daunting and scary experience so much more comfortable and empowering. The care I received from our midwife was outstanding and I felt throughout the experience that she advocated for our best interests. The home visits from our midwife also gave us a lot of reassurance in the first few days with our newborn. If I have another child, I would not hesitate in enrolling in the MGP once again, based on this experience.
"Would not hesitate to enrol again!"
