"My recent attendance for a surgical procedure"

I recently had to undergo an arthroscopy on my left knee in Karratha Health Campus Surgical Services and was a little worried at the prospect of having  general anaesthetic.

I needn't have worried, from the moment I stepped into the unit, I found the staff were welcoming, professional and supportive, explaining everything in Stage One and ensuring I felt informed and comfortable before entering the theatre. I found the staff inside were exceptional, going as far as to hold my hand and giving me reassurance whilst I was going under for the surgery.

On waking, my excellent care continued, from the recovery nurse's friendly face and compassionate nature to the after care in Stage Two, where I believe the nurse was attentive and thorough. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the care I was given, and in my opinion, the Surgical Services Clinical Nurse Manager should be very proud of her wonderful team.
