"Amazing care during my stay at the hospital"

I had walked on a nail, it went through my shoe and scratched my toe and the oral medication didn’t help so I was in the ward for a drip. I believe you couldn’t ask for any better care from nurses. I’d like to mention Karen, Lisa, Faye and also the NUM Kate and Tae, he got me into a single room. I’ve never been a patient before and I felt what they did was just amazing.

Nursing admin, Cathy, Victoria, Ann G, and Ann H, they came every day to see how I was going, I couldn’t ask for any better service. The phone communication manager Mr George, he’d also come up to make sure everything was fine with my phone. He gave me a brand-new phone when the one I had was crackly. I also want to mention Pauline and John who also came to see how I was going. I was truly looked after in all respects. At the start, I didn’t want to be in hospital but by the end I didn’t want to leave, they looked after me tremendously,

I also want to mention the lovely doctors I encountered, there was quite a few, on 2 west and in the emergency department who took care of my foot, they were amazing. I could have lost my toe because I’m a diabetic. That’s why everyone was coming to check, after the oral medication wasn’t working and didn’t clear the infection straight away. I was grateful because I could have lost my toe or even my foot. All these people must play a part. They didn’t scare me, they didn’t want to worry me. They were all amazing people. Based on my experience, I would recommend anyone to Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital.
