"Involuntary mental patient"

About: Lismore Base Hospital / Adult mental illness

(as the patient),

Met a psychiatrist for the first time ever, I felt they took one look at me and said they believe I am unwell. Then I recall they proceeded to bring me to the ER and perform an ECG in the middle of a room with strangers wearing what I believe were Hawaiian t-shirts.

I recall orderlies pinned me down despite me being docile and calm, in my opinion. In the following weeks, I was held at a facility in which I believe the corruption is so severe it is sickening.

Based on my experience, it seems they are blatantly torturing patients and getting away with it. I felt my treating team and dr would not listen or talk to me, merely just kept cycling medications I tried repeatedly to politely decline.
