About: Yarra Ranges Health / Day Surgery Unit

(as the patient),

After being referred to Yarra Ranges Health Hospital by my doctor, I recall I received a call from the booking team within a couple hours.  

I found the booking process was very straight forward and documents were emailed to me shortly after. 

Upon arriving at the hospital, the staff who I dealt with were friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I believe the care team explained things well and ensured that I was understanding all of the steps that were involved. I felt they were reassuring, and their manner meant that I didn't become anxious. 

The team in the theatre kept me at ease during the preparation for the procedure.  

Once completed, I was woken in recovery, and was able to move to the observation area at my own pace. 

A big thank you to all of the team, with a special mention to Vicki.
