I broke my R Ulna while horseplaying at home. I heard a loud snap and went directly to Armadale ER on. I recall a brief and somewhat painful wait in the lobby, then into Radiology, my arm was hurting then. The X-ray revealed my suspicions, and I was moved to a treatment room.
Shortly thereafter, a pleasant nurse practitioner was preparing plaster to make an elbow to knuckles cast. I felt she was very professional and told me she had been practicing for over 20 years. I was home quickly with a return appointment for the following week. My arm was now stabilised, and I was happy.
The following week I met a fabulous Orthopedic Surgeon at my return visit. He removed the plaster cast and installed a hi-tech fibreglass replacement. I felt he was so warm and friendly. The fibreglass cast was removed and I now have a splint to wear to protect my recently healed Ulna.
In my opinion, even if I lived in Beverly Hills, I believe that I couldn’t have been afforded better treatment. What a great team effort from ER to Radiology to Orthopedics. I believe you folks are 5 stars. Thanks so much.
