"Covid-19 test"

About: Sydney / Sydney Eye Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Based on my experience, what a disorganised mess. 

I required a Covid test. I went to Sydney Eye Hospital and it seemed to me I was forced to wait almost 3 hours for a test that I believe should only take 5 mins. I have gone to other hospitals (I recall with far greater lines of people) and I felt I was in and out within half an hour. I believe a lot could be learnt from this other hospital because whatever is going on here, I feel isn't working.

I also felt let down by medical staff, I recall I was not advised by them of an estimate wait time or any suggestions made to go somewhere else. I believe it is not hard to just let people know.

I recall I found the staff member on the front desk was especially rude and did not provide me with adequate information on how to register, and therefore I felt like people who came after me, went before me. 

I hope the rest of this hospital doesn’t reflect with what seemed to me to be going on in that Covid testing centre.
