"Gallbladder removal"

About: Armadale Hospital / General Surgery Outpatient Clinic

(as the patient),

I was sent to the Armadale hospital outpatient clinic to have an ultra sound for stomach pains. A young woman did the scan and instead of sending me home to see my local GP, she ordered me into the hospital ED to see a doctor because I recall she said what I had was serious. That started a chain of events where about several hours later a surgeon removed my infected gallbladder.

I don't know this young woman's name, but I am extremely grateful to her and the decision that she made, I recall I was told by the surgeon that another day and I would have been in serious trouble.

I would be grateful if you could pass this message onto her.
