"Heartfelt thank you to medical team"

This is not so much a story but simply a heartfelt thank you to the doctors, nurses, physiotherapists, radiologists, and all ancillary workers who provided a medical service that was of the highest quality.

From my pre-admission through to my heart valve replacement and to the post-operative care, I am grateful for the expertise of all involved and for the warmth of everyone who helped me through this challenging and difficult period.

At this time of the Covid 19 pandemic I was fearful of not being admitted due to the reduced capacity of the hospital and was pleasantly surprised and relieved to be admitted in September 2021 - only two months after referral.

I should also like to thank Dr Hugh who gave me the benefit of his unique skills with the minimally invasive surgery techniques. This has helped me enormously in my recovery. These words cannot sufficiently describe my appreciation of Dr Hugh and his team.

Once again, I cannot thank you enough for the wonderful care and support provided by all at the Prince of Wales Hospital
