How very fortunate we are as citizens of WA to have access to a great health system supported by skillful and caring professionals!
My mother, in her 90s, was admitted to the Collie Regional Hospital in mid-December after a couple of minor falls. Everyone she encountered, from the ambulance crew who took her to hospital through until she was discharged, had the care and skills set that we would hope for if we were in my Mum's position.
Alison and the Dr in ED, nurses Kiyarni and Rachel, Elaine (NUM), Crystal the Social Worker and Lynda (OT) were all wonderful, so careful, considerate and highly skilled. A heartfelt bouquet to you individually and as a team.
I have been so impressed with Lynda's efficiency, help and support. Within half a day of me making a general request for how I could access support for Mum in her home upon her discharge, I had received four phone calls with updates and information.
Our family is so very appreciative of all that was done to nurse Mum back to a level of independence. Thank you all.
