"PCH - amazing ED"

About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

We took our son to ED recently for bleeding following recent changes to his medication.

We were amazed and impressed with the expertise and professionalism of Dr Fred, Dr Kate and nurses Ricki, Sara and Dave.

We were seen quickly and our concerns were listened to and actioned, especially relating to the difficulty of accessing our son for a blood test (which Dr Fred said he would do himself as a result). We were very grateful our son was offered pain relief and that his distress during the blood test and Insuflon change was minimised as much as possible through the caring expertise of the team.

Everything was explained to us including the next steps for when we left ED and we very much appreciated everyone’s care, initiative and attention to detail.

Thank you very much to a fantastic team!
