"Comment made by OT"

I was at an appointment with my child and the OT was attending. I have two other children also who weren’t at the appointment with me. I felt the OT asked me in a very condescending manner if my other children were being cared for by another adult. Which of course they were. The way I believe the OT said this was completely unnecessary and I found it offensive. For the OT to seemingly think I would leave my young children home alone with no one to care for them I feel is insulting.

Also, as only one of my children was a client of the OT, it seems to me their false concern for my other children is out of the scope of their job, in my opinion. I feel very upset that someone who has met me many times and seen me with my children and how I interact with them likely assumes that I could be so neglectful and leave them at home alone.
