"Broken jaw"

About: Royal Perth Hospital / Face and Jaw (Maxillofacial) Surgery

(as the patient),

Had the best treatment from doctors, nurses and everyone who I dealt with at rph.

Had broken jaw for more than five years, after admitting to rph, I was equipped with full titanium mandrel on both sides cost excess 100k

Now I can snore, yarn and eat a hamburger- sounds trivial yet my mouth opening was 8mm.

When you are ill, sick or injured- service and care can seem to be unfair.

I was mistreated for more than four and half years, I say to hell and back, fortunate for me I had a good outcome. I believe we are all fallible, nurses are angels, doctors are demi gods. One thing that inspires me is there is always someone worse off and hospital is were you can view em, in my opinion.

I hope better endings to more patients and more positive interactions from hospital staff.

Ta.

Dear Joe blow,

Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience and kind words regarding the maxillofacial treatment you received at Royal Perth Hospital (RPH).

I am sorry to hear of the difficulties you experienced over several years with your dental journey. I can appreciate the impact this must have had on your overall health and wellbeing.

Given the insights you have shared, your kind words for the staff involved in your care at RPH are even more heart-felt. I will pass on your comments and I know the staff will be so pleased to have made such a difference to your quality of life and comfort.

I sincerely thank you for taking the time to express your gratitude and provide such encouraging feedback.

Staff try hard to uphold the highest standards of safe and compassionate care and it is always lovely to read when staff make such a positive impact on our patients.

I wish you well in your future health and endeavours.

Kind Regards,

Dr Lesley Bennett
