"Asked to wait for 50 mins with chest pains."

About: Bunbury Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

Had moderna second shot 24 hours ago, at the time of writing this.

Joints hurt.

Headache.

Nerve pain.

Large hard lumps on arms, stomach and back.

Not steady on feet.

Heart palpitations.

Chest pain.

Back pain.

Vomiting.

But unfortunately it seemed to me an impatient, rude and I believe condescending clinician had an attitude issue with me, in my opinion.

I felt absolutely horrible all over and was concerned with racing heart and sharp pains in chest, but if the medical professional seemed to believe there's no urgency then I feel I shouldn't either.

I thought we were getting this vaccine to assist the nurses but for me at least I felt like they had utter contempt for me.

Dear phaseky78

Firstly, I would like to apologise for what sounds like a non-compassionate, dismissive interaction with our emergency staff.

Secondly, it sounds like your health concerns have not been addressed and I would be keen to hear from you ASAP so that I can help facilitate this.

If you feel comfortable please contact me on 0428 282 709.

Kind regards

Amber Hargans
