"Care received at Kalbarri Health Centre"

About: Kalbarri Health Centre / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I presented at the health center with chest pains and the other signs associated with a cardiac event.

Both Nurses Kelly and Janet were amazing. Even after what seemed like a busy ED. They went into overdrive in the resus room. It was fantastic to see such professionalism and teamwork. I was always informed at what was going on at all times and that took the worry or stress from me. The ETS doctor (please forgive me I don't remember her name and her cat) were brilliant too. I believe we have such an amazing service.

I was handed over in the afternoon to Natalie and Krissy and also to a cardiologist doctor based at SCGH via ETS.

Again I was kept informed at all times what was going on. I would also like to add to the care and attention that was provided to my husband and two children by Natalie and Krissy in the evening. They felt included which meant they need not worry as much. I was then handed over to the gentle voiced nurse Gavin, I felt he is super caring and certainly knows his stuff. Thanks goes out to the night-time orderly Walter. What a team you have. You must be so proud.

I was sent to Perth via RFDS with transport by SJA, again more epic country services, in my opinion. Natalie your skills at packing everything in that tiny red bag from my big grey bag in the back of the ambulance. I believe you should enter minute to win it. I feel you would nail it. It was very funny.

The Kalbarri Health Centre staff who I dealt with should be commended. I feel the staff are caring, considerate, thoughtful and not forgetting, absolutely amazing and professional like no other hospital I've been too.

With hand on heart I truly thank you all.
