"My hospital experience"

About: Geraldton Hospital / Emergency Department Northampton Hospital / Emergency Department Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital / Coronary Care Unit (CCU) G42

(as the patient),

Recently one morning, I blacked out. My husband took me to the Northampton Hospital where the two nurses cared for me diligently & also the doctor via telehealth. I was transported by very caring St John's Ambulance staff to Geraldton Regional Hospital ED. Nursing, Medical, Radiology, Pathology, Hotel Services from ED though general ward & HDU I found were all polite, professional, caring and knew exactly what they were doing.

I was transferred via RFDS (who also were polite, professional, caring & I felt knew what they were doing) to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital Cardiology Ward where once again everyone I dealt with was just wonderful & also to the Cardiac Catheter Lab staff who inserted a pacemaker & the technologists, etc. I was taken to the discharge lounge and the staff were wonderful there also.

Having worked in the health profession for many years myself, I am proud to have been associated with the profession & thank everyone also including administration staff who it seems to me don't always get recognition as they are in the background. Thank you, I appreciate each and every one of you!

Dear Elated patient,

The Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital health professionals and administrative staff thank you for your feedback on the quality of their healthcare services.

Your appreciation for the cardiology care received is particularly gratifying, because of your healthcare knowledge as a former health professional.

I am so pleased that you received the timely care that you needed and wish you good health in the future.

Warm regards

Theresa
