About: Merredin Health Service / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I attended Merredin ED for symptomatic COVID-19 swabbing. I called the ED where the nurse Leeza answered my phone was friendly and explained what time to attend. When I arrived to the ED at the designated time Ollie the RN was friendly, explained the testing process clearly and was able to direct me through it via the intercom. Leeza completed the swab and observations and was caring, compassionate while doing so. My experience was easy, quick and the team were prepared, friendly and approachable which I really appreciated! :)

Our staff do understand how worrying it can be to require a swab for COVID-19, and that it is not the most pleasant experience.
