"Amazing care provided by a PCA"

I was admitted to the medical ward recently. I met the PCA Debbie during the evening when she came on for her afternoon/evening shifts. The care that I received from her was above and beyond. She was able to make me laugh and keep a smile on my face during a really challenging period of time for me. I did not have any family with me due to them being in another state and my partner working away, so she really made me feel so cared for, and took my mind off things. I couldn’t be more grateful for her, and I looked forward to seeing her at the end of the day when she came on shift. Based on my experience, laughter truly is the best medicine, thank you Debbie for being an amazing PCA. I would love for her to be recognised for the way in which I believe she cares and goes above and beyond for her patients. 😊
