"Personalised care"

About: Wonthaggi Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I recently visited ED and cannot speak highly enough of the care I received.

Security/porter at the front entrance was most courteous and helpful - he arranged a wheelchair and ushered me through to the triage nurse. The triage nurse then processed me quickly and within about 15 minutes I was seen by Dr Paul. He asked many questions, explained his examination and tests and encouraged me to ask questions too. Nurses Sarah and Katherine were gentle, caring, informative and efficient. I felt as though I was the only patient there as the care was so personalised. Thank you to you all for the wonderful service and treatment you offered when I was feeling very unwell.

Dear attendanths63,

Thank you so much for taking the time to post this lovely feedback. The ED staff are all doing their best in pretty tricky times, and I know they will be very pleased to receive your feedback.

I hope your recovery is progressing well.

Kind Regards, Jan
