A huge thankyou to all the staff at Rockingham Hospital who cared for our mother who was diagnosed with terminal bowel cancer. From A&E, Nursing staff, Surgical Unit staff, Doctors and Palliative Care Team we say a heartfelt thankyou. The care she received was kind, professional, courteous and respectful.
My mother went in with a lot of pain and nausea. She was scared, very sick and anxious. At the time of writing this, my mother is now home, almost pain free, no nausea and eating well. Silver Chain nursing was organised the same day along with medications and future medical appointments.
We cannot thank the staff enough for their caring and generous attention. Nothing was too much trouble. My mother's concerns were listened to with such patience and care. All her options were explained to her very thoroughly and with kindness. A huge weight has been lifted from her shoulder’s and our family. We cannot thank the staff enough for what they did, not only for our mother, but I believe for all patients.
"Heartfelt thanks"
