This was a real mind opening experience. It’s not at all what I thought it would be like. It felt very daunting at first but taking that first step was the most important one. Not only did it help me understand my addictions, but it really helped me understand what's going on in my body and mind, everything behind my reasons for using. I had an amazing group which made the experience so much easier. Especially our counsellor Mysti from Lives Lived Well Toowoomba. I found she is an amazing counsellor and really helpful with any stage of my recovery.
