Extremely grateful for the care my son received in the paediatric ED at JHC. Both initial triage to nursing, doctors and imaging staff worked promptly to ensure my son received appropriate care before being transferred to another hospital. Working well within their scopes, staff quickly assessed, treated and knew when to move hospital to have my son cared for appropriately.

For what was an extremely stressful time for me, the staff's actions and communications reassured me that my son would receive the best care and have the best outcomes.

After having surgery the following day, at the time of writing this we are now back home recovering and I put that to the attention to detail shown at JHC ED. Thank you!

I am very pleased to hear that your son is recovering well at home following surgery. Having a sick child is a stressful time and it is reassuring to hear that you felt supported and cared for during your time at JHC. We are very happy to hear that our paediatric team were able to provide timely assessment and referral. Our staff are working in a busy environment so receiving feedback such as yours is very important and will be greatly appreciated by the team.
