(as a parent/guardian),

I can’t commend the staff at Geraldton Hospital enough in regards to a recent visit for my child. When you don’t quite fit the mold of normalcy it can be overwhelming and somewhat challenging to get the care and service you require.

To everyone from the Covid vaccination clinic, the population health team, paediatrics, Dr Henry and the staff in recovery and all the administration and support staff that supported them in making it possible for my child to receive the first Covid vaccination – Thank you!

Your care and attention in both making this happen and supporting us on the day is very much appreciated. With everything else going on that day, you never made us feel anything other than cared for, supported and informed the whole time. I think it's very important to have confidence in your healthcare team and I hope this helps others in knowing that we have a multitude of caring hearts and capable hands at Geraldton Hospital.

It was so lovely to read your story on Care Opinion and how the combined efforts of the team worked to enable your child to receive their COVID Vaccination. As a mum myself, I read your story about caring hearts and capable hands shown to a child and parent and felt very proud of the Geraldton health care team.

I am continually impressed by the staff throughout the Midwest and their ongoing commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our community. They show a willingness to collaborate with patients and their families to overcome any obstacles in achieving as high a COVID-19 vaccination rate as possible.
