"Virtual Outpatient Appointment/Treatment"

About: Karratha Health Campus / Outpatients & Day Treatment Telehealth Service - WACHS Pilbara

I had my first Karratha appts for my chemo treatment over the last couple of days at Karratha Health Campus and I was pleasantly surprised with the whole process.

My Dr is Dr Lau and I spoke to him accompanied by my second pair of ears (hubby) and my two nurses. The appt was via telehealth and it went really well, all my questions were answered and everything was explained in normal people language (no big words) so I understood everything.

My two nurses Tracey and Hannah are an absolute delight to deal with and I know I'm in good hands while in their care. They are very caring, very understanding, fantastic senses of humour, which is good for me and kept my anxiety at bay all whilst still very professionally delivered and they explain every little thing they are doing as it's happening which I appreciated.

It made the treatment process feel like a breeze and I wasn't just a number, thank you all so much, my whole experience has been ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and I expect it will stay this way 😊

Thank you for taking the time to relay your patient experience when attending the Karratha Health Campus.

It is wonderful to hear that the telehealth process went smoothly with Dr Lau and that your questions were answered, and process explained.

It is also great to hear that Hannah and Tracey showed you genuine care throughout your treatment.
