KEMH did not allow my support person with me when discussing the decisions surrounding my birth. I felt very unsupported by the hospital and believe I was being pushed into making fear-based decisions because I did not have an advocate for me. I have severe anxiety and no one seemed to listen or take my needs into consideration.
