I found lack of confidentiality was an issue at this practice. I was a patient in the waiting area and I recall the receptionist asked walk-in patients personal and private information (name, address & date of birth) in a non-discreet manner. They said it out loud and I think it’s very dangerous. I remember thinking any patient sitting in the waiting area could record these details of vulnerable patients and use that information. I believe staff should reconsider options to confirm personal information rather than saying it very loud in such a small waiting area. I'd prefer to give them my driver’s license so they can view it rather than say my private information out loud.
