"Doctor, Nurse and Dentist"

About: Perth Children's Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

After an accident that resulted in my child needing emergency dental treatment, we attended Perth Children's Hospital emergency department.

We were first seen to by Dr Katy and Nurse Wes who, I felt, were amazing and made myself and my child comfortable. They then organised for the on-call Dentist to attend. The on-call Dentist Mahaela (unsure of spelling) arrived shortly after and moved us to the ED dental room. I found she was so gentle, kind and calm which had an instant impact on my child and myself as a parent. She was able to fix the problem and sent my child home with her beautiful smile back.

I understand how busy ED can get and how under the pump these staff are, but I truly can't thank them enough for the care my child received, especially with the dentist being on-call on a Saturday night! I believe these three staff members are an asset to PCH and should be commended on the outstanding job they do.
