"Patient care and emergency staff"

About: Sale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a relative),

Based on my experience, this hospital is the biggest hospital joke of Gippsland I have ever been to. I feel the emergency staff completely lack patient rapport and care for anyone. Multiple times I had attended with my toddler when they were an infant and recently and made to wait hours on end. I have sat in a car at 2am for multiple hours with my toddler nibling to which I previously put a report in about. Again we were told a another toddler with a rash needs to wait outside as there is no isolation room. Yet could not be shown a policy stating a rash needs isolation and that you are made to wait outside. I questioned what do you do in the instance when said person has no car to sit in and it is freezing cold.

I recall one clinician was the latest staff member dealt with in this department that had lack of care and was blatantly rude. I have had seen them rude on many occasions, I feel they lack all sympathy and morals needed to work in the industry. Central Gippsland Health Sale should be ashamed of their patient care in my opinion, and it just seems to be getting worse and worse. I feel it's no wonder why people are, as far as I'm aware, travelling further away so they are not made out to be an inconvenience.
