I believe Maroondah should stop forwarding on patients to a certain private rehab centre until this rehab centre can employ more staff and provide the proper care and rehab programmes expected of it.
Hiding behind the comments of the Maroondah patient has now 'left the building' and now is the problem of the private rehab centre is not good enough in my opinion. Maroondah Hospital should stop sending vulnerable patients to this rehab establishment until the private rehab centre has sorted out their chronic shortage of staff and stop seemingly hiding the situation behind closed doors.
This is a personal experience comment, for a vulnerable loved relative who is not receiving the care expected in the private rehab centre.
