"Professional and knowledgeable hospital staff"

About: Armadale Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I came into emergency with an angina issue. I found the admitting staff were very polite and professional and I went straight into emergency. The doctor on duty was Dr. Yan. I have nothing but praise for her skills and diligent manner. I felt very confident and well cared for. I felt Dr. Yan's phlebotomist skills were the best.

I must also congratulate the male nurse who had just come back from leave. He had a student nurse in tow and I believe she is very lucky to have him as her tutor. I felt he was very knowledgeable and imparted this knowledge with care and kindness.

Well done Armadale hospital, how lucky the people of WA seem to be to have this quality of staff.

Dear bracegj44,

We truly appreciate the time you have taken out of your day to provide such wonderfully positive feedback for our Emergency Department here at Armadale Health Service. Thank you for sharing your experience with us and the wider community on this forum.

It is delightful to read about the care you have received from our Emergency Department staff members and that you have acknowledged their skills and professionalism. It was my pleasure to pass on this message to Dr Yan and all the staff in our Emergency Department here in Armadale.

At Armadale Health Service we have a comprehensive teaching hospital, and it is our pleasure to have many students attend to complete their clinical placements. We hope that the students who attend their placements here leave having gained experience and skills towards their qualifications in healthcare and to be able to emulate our wonderful staff members. It is fantastic to hear that you have been able to see firsthand how the staff provide these skills and knowledge with kindness.

I wholeheartedly agree that the people of WA are lucky to have this quality of staff here who are training our future generations!

Kind regards,

Di Barr
