About: Maroondah Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a carer),

Partner had chest pains so we rushed off to Emergency.

Being early on a public holiday, it was apparently a quiet & good time to attend.

The nurses and doctors at Maroondah were fantastic - took us in immediately and did all the tests before discharging her.

Everyone had a lovely disposition & their care could not have been better - thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to share these comments regarding your partner's care when attending the Emergency Department at Eastern Health's Maroondah Hospital.

This must have been quite a stressful time for both you and your partner and I was really pleased to read through your words how the staff bought the Eastern Health values of Patients First, Kindness, Respect, Excellence, Agility and Humility to life. It will give me pleasure to share your comments with the Emergency Department leaders as the team do the best they can, often in very trying circumstances.

I trust your partner is back to the best of health and you don't have too many more of these types of episodes.
