"Cared for by the Nuclear Medicine staff"

About: Prince of Wales Hospital / Campus Centre 2 - Nuclear Medicine Department

(as the patient),

I needed a lymphoscintigram in the morning prior to my surgery. I was quite nervous as I have never had surgery before. The staff in Nuclear Medicine were wonderful and explained everything that was happening. I was worried I would miss by check-in at peri-op, however, they were in constant communication with the peri-op team, letting them know where I was at and when I would be heading to them. A week or so later I revisited for a PET CT scan and the staff were very kind and my appointment was a breeze, from the reception staff to the technicians and doctors I dealt with, all were amazing towards me.
