"Midwifery care"

Earlier this month, our darling daughter was born at Busselton Health Campus with the support of outstanding midwives through the Margaret River Midwifery Group Practice. I achieved a successful VBAC with the support of midwives Cat, Narelle and Milena, who respected and supported my birth preferences with exceptional professionalism, encouragement and care.

Home visits and regular phone contact following our short hospital stay allowed us to feel comfortable and safe throughout our experience. I believe Cat and Milena went above and beyond in their care for my daughter and I; answering midnight phone calls, making many many home visits to check on us, and prioritising our health at all times. I have felt truly nurtured and held in my postpartum healing, and attribute our joyful settling into life as a family of four to the gentle, comforting and generous support we were afforded by our midwives. We are eternally grateful to Cat, Milena and Narelle for their care and love. Based on our experience, I would recommend this model of care to all expectant mothers in the Margaret River region.
