"Care for when I fainted"

About: Canberra Hospital Canberra Hospital / Emergency Department

(as the patient),

I fainted and cut my head, so much bleeding and wrenched back. I was reluctant to call an ambulance but my daughter did and I finished up in emergency. I was astonished at the level of care and the kindness of the staff who did x-rays, drips, ECG, blood pressure, glued up the wound and were so competent. The doctor was Erin who glued me up and came by at least three times after to explain tests. The nurses were April, Sandra and, I think, Joy.

I couldn't fault their care of me and want to congratulate the Emergency department for the calibre of their staff. I feel we hear so much bad news about the hospital but my experience was quite the opposite.
