The parking at Rockingham Hospital is, in my experience, very hard to get so I headed to the hospital an hour before my appointment time. When I arrived at the clinic, it was around 15 minutes before my appointment time. About 45 minutes after arrival, I recall a nurse asked me which clinic I was waiting for, I replied gynaecology. About 5 minutes later they asked my name then rushed to do my obs. An hour after my appointment time my name was called, I believe the doctor said sorry I didn't realise you were here, I was going to get them to send you away. The doctor then said that they won't operate on me, I will have to go elsewhere. When I asked for a medical certificate as I had to take the day off work, I believe they refused.

I am so very sorry to hear that your experience was not reflective of the high standard of care which we pride ourselves on at RGH. This will allow us to investigate your specific concerns. Once again I am very sorry for the distress this may have caused you.
