I presented to Busselton ED with a episode of sudden severe chest and thoracic back pain at approximately 6:30pm. From the minute I arrived and was triaged by a incredible nurse, till the four plus hours later that I was expertly discharged, I had exceptionally efficient care. I found the staff were responsive immediately on my arrival, the nurses diligence and care was faultless and professional and the Medical Registra Peter, well he was absolutely outstanding. I felt safe, respected and completely at ease despite being rather scared and distressed with the symptoms I had. I left feeling absolutely reassured that our ED is a safe place to be.

Hi Su shine,

I am so sorry that you had this distressing and scary experience. It is so frightening when you have chest pain and are thinking the worst.

I am really happy that you found the nursing staff professional and attentive. They really do appreciate people taking the trouble to give feedback and I thank you for doing so. I usually post these lovely letters in the tea room and it certainly gives everyone a lift when they read them.

I will also give feedback to Dr Peter who will be chuffed to be called outstanding!

I do hope you are feeling better and do not hesitate to return if you are worried or need further care.
