"Getting my confidence back"

About: Busselton Health Campus / Allied Health Outpatient Service

(as the patient),

I have had a number of falls and have had broken ribs + stitches in my head etc. I had lost a lot of confidence in walking & exercising by myself. Doing this course had helped my confidence + given me the encouragement to continue exercising + found other groups to walk with etc.

Did not feel pressured, went at my own pace, had qualified people running the course.

Some of the exercises were a bit hard but as the course progressed I could see I was improving.

Dear pegasusmk78,

Thank you for taking the time to describe your experiences during your recovery. Having a fall can knock your confidence for six especially when you have suffered injuries such as yours. We are very pleased to hear you are back on your feet, walking confidently and linked in with a community group! Well done!

Our team of physiotherapists, supported by allied health assistants, provide a caring experience in the outpatient groups, both encouraging and challenging, as you recover and progress. They will be delighted to receive this positive feedback and thanks.

We hope you keep on with your home exercises and walking to help prevent any further falls.

Take care and kind regards,

Jenny Hoskins, Allied Health Manager.
