"A pleasant ED visit"

About: Karratha Health Campus / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

I recently took my teenage child to ED with a rapid heart rate, dizziness & feeling faint.

We were blessed to be seen by a young RMO named Emily.

What an incredible & lovely caring Doctor.

My child is only a teenager and can be quite a private and shy person in new situations and with unfamiliar people.

Emily was beyond wonderful with them, she instantly put my child at ease & explained everything to them in a way they understood.

She was very thorough, and I honestly don’t feel like we could have been cared for any better.

In between being looked over by Emily, we had the pleasure of Reg as our Nurse. He is just pure sunshine in human form.

He was warm, caring and he used just the right amount of humour to make my child laugh & feel comfortable.

What an absolute asset to the ED department to have these two on board as staff.

Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant visit.

Dear HappyParent1,

We really appreciate the time you have taken to share your experience and that of your child at Karratha Health Campus. It is wonderful to receive such feedback for our team members in the Emergency Department.

Reg and Emily are valued colleagues and I will ensure that we pass on your kind words of appreciation to them both. I hope that your child is now feeling better.

Kind regards,

Liam Avery
