"Excellent women's health physio"

About: Royal Hospital for Women / Maternity Services Division

(as the patient),

I started seeing Giulia 6 weeks after giving birth to my first baby.

I had forceps delivery and soon after the birth I started feeling the symptoms of what turned out to be a mild prolapse.

I saw Giulia through the whole process of my recovery and I simply can't speak highly enough of her professionalism, knowledge, her commitment to her patient's recovery, her level of empathy and understanding and her amazing attitude.

Navigating through the changes in my body after the pregnancy was tough, but Giulia's attitude kept me motivated and also committed to my exercises which in time had me feeling extremely better (almost without any symptoms at all).

Giulia explored other alternatives, consulted with other professionals to get different views on how to help my recovery and through the process was always understanding of how this impacted my life and listened patiently every time I broke down in tears in her room.

Giulia also helped me organizing and chasing up a debrief with the hospital to I could get closure on some events on the birth of my baby that were difficult to understand and process for me.

I have not met another health professional so well rounded, professional, capable and passionate as Giulia.
