About: Maroondah Hospital / Emergency Department

(as a parent/guardian),

My little man, just over a year old, became very ill. He was lethargic and stopped eating or drinking so I decided to take him to ED maroondah hospital.

Yes, there was a wait like all ED, I understand thanks to covid and staff shortages, but I was so impressed by all the staff. I felt like they actually took mum seriously (in my opinion, lots of gp don’t). We were kept in short stay for a little longer than they like as I believe the staff were 100% dedicated to providing the best of care for my son. Well done team you are the most amazing health care team I have seen. I was blown away and didn’t want to leave. :)
